I always look forward to taking and sharing our August photos for The Me + Mine Project, they always end up being some of my favourite of the year. Every year we head back to the same spot, and recreate the same photograph, and I really think it marks the changes in our family so much. Not least when there is a new family member to join the line up this year.
It feels funny looking back to last years photos, because we didn't yet know about Wylder, but he would have already been making himself at home in my tummy. It's crazy the difference a year can make, hey?
And if you've been following The Me + Mine Project for a while, you'll know that around about now, I like to take a little stroll down memory lane, and look at all our previous August gate photos from years gone by. And this year will be no different...! I love this little tradition, and the fact that it actually predates us even doing The Me + Mine Project, and the first one was simply us capturing a photo in our final days as a three. Little did we know how we'd fill those gaps in the gate over the coming few years.
I love your August photos - it’s such a lovely way of capturing the changes in your family over time and how wonderful to see each new member making an appearance. Such a lovely tradition. Thanks for hosting the #meandmineproject
ReplyDeleteI love that you always go back to the same place in August - we've taken the last two year's pictures on our garden bench but we were on holiday this year and I forgot! Maybe I'll just have to do them for September instead :)
ReplyDeleteAwww I love the gate photos! These are beautiful photos Lucy. I noticed your shorter hair on your Insta stories the other day, it looks lovely xx
ReplyDeleteLove these photos Lucy, I remember so many of those gate photos. xx
ReplyDeleteI love your August photos, seeing how you've grown and changed over the years. Your children are going to love seeing these when they are older x
ReplyDeleteOh I do love your annual photos in this window. It's such a sweet thing to do and for so long. Look how your little family has grown over the years in it too. I love these hunny and full of your signature rainbow too! :)
