I have to say that looking through our family photos this month makes me all warm and fuzzy. They may well be new favourites of mine. The beach is always such a happy place for us anyway, and the weather had been so incredibly kind to us that day, but yet the beach had remained deserted. We all look a little sun kissed and windswept; as you should after a beach day. Mainly I just look at them and I see the memories that we made, in a place that we love, with just each other for company. And I see the five of us and think; we made that, I'm so proud that little tribe is mine.
Make sure you pop by my cohosts' posts this month and see what all their families have been up to. Alex, Jenny, Fritha, Katie and Lucy will all have a new family photo to share with you all. And be sure to use #meandmineproject if you are joining in on Instagram. I can't wait to see all your family photos linked up below, so what are you waiting for...?
These are beautiful totally know what you mean about you all looking so relaxed, they are fab
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm glad that relaxed vibe shows; we simply had such a lovely day. x
DeleteYour beach photos are beautiful and you look so relaxed and happy together. So sorry that I missed you and Ashlyn at #BML16 - would have been lovely to say hello to you both. Thank you for hosting the #meandmineproject :-)
ReplyDeleteBeach photos are always my favourites! And such a shame we didn't see each other, it's hard to catch up with everyone. x
DeleteGreat photos, looks like you were all having a lovely day at the beach. x
ReplyDeleteThank you, we did. Beach days are our favourites. x
DeleteWarm days, so we did have some in June? Lovely pictures, very relaxed x
ReplyDeleteWe've certainly had some, and my goodness did we try and make the most of them when we did! x
DeleteI am with you on the beach. We love the beach. My eldest always asks to go to the beach at the weekend. He has a passion for it. Yet we never managed to take a family photo at the beach. Maybe for July.
ReplyDeleteHaha, we are the same; a day off generally means us sticking our pin in a map somewhere along the coast line! And it sounds like you definitely need to get a beach photo soon. x
DeleteGorgeous pictures as always. You all look so wonderful and so happy x
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicola. It was such a nice day that it was easy to get happy snaps. x
DeleteAww what lovely photos. You all look so chilled. Eva is also loving wearing summer dresses. In fact I can't get her to wear much else lol x
ReplyDeleteWho can blame them..? Summer is a great excuse for a pretty dress I say. x
DeleteLove love love! Those pastel tones on the beach hut are so pretty! Love your top too, Lucy! Hopefully July will show us some more sun!!! :O xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm such a sucker for pastels, just couldn't say no to having them as a backdrop! And yes, fingers crossed for some more sunshine, it still doesn't feel like summer has properly arrived yet. x

DeleteThese are such happy pics to look at and feel so summery! Im looking out at a rainy miserable evening and longing for days like this to return ASAP hahaha! Lovely family pics and glad you enjoyed a beach day x
ReplyDeleteThe end of June has been a bit disappointing weather wise, hasn't it? In fact these photos reminded me that June wasn't all bad. Fingers crossed for nice weather for more beach days soon though. x
DeleteYou can really see how you are settled as a family of five, so contented and with your own roles. I adore the photo of Everly being squished in tight by Rich. Thank you for hosting x
ReplyDeleteWe are so loving being a five, it feels so natural, and like we should have always been five. And that little moment between Rich and Everly is adorable isn't it? I wasn't massively keen on the light in that photo, but I couldn't leave it out simply because it was so lovely of them. x
DeleteGorgeous photos! x
ReplyDeleteThank you! x
DeleteGorgeous photos! I agree that the beach is our happy place too- I love the lighting it gives photos as well. I didn't realise you were at Brit Mums! There are so many people there it's hard to see everyone! Hope you had a lovely time xxx
ReplyDeleteThe light is definitely something I love about the seaside, and how big the sky is! And it's so hard catching up with everyone at BritMums isn't it? There were so many people I missed that I would have liked to say hi to. x
DeleteOh what gorgeously sunny photos! A beach day sounds like the perfect way to spend your birthday!
ReplyDeleteThat's the second year we've had a beach hut day as my birthday day out, and I think it might have to officially be a tradition now. And we were so lucky with the weather, it was glorious. x
DeleteWhat a lovely set of photos! It seems impossible to think that June had any beach weather looking back, but these prove it. I love the beach - the sound of the sea, the sand, the lovely light, the ice cream! You all look so happy in these, it's put a smile on my face just looking at them!
