he is just in such a charming stage at the moment,
absolutely adored his ride on the train to London,
and is obsessed with playing his new games.
she has learnt how to do a proper high-pitched scream,
which she enjoys using when things aren't quite going her way,
and is completely in love with all the 'little toys' she got for Christmas.
Here goes, year number two of weekly portraits...!
If you take a look at week one from last year, you can really see how these beautiful babies have mine have changed over the past fifty-two weeks. And that change alone would be enough to drive me to keep taking these photos and sharing these weekly snippets.
But the simple fact is I absolutely loved sharing a single portrait of him and her last year; it was simple enough to do (when you take as many photos as me) but it is such a lovely record of them over the entire year. So I'm going to do it all over again this year...!
Gorgeous! Happy New year to you all xx
ReplyDeleteAhh they really have changed and grown this past year. They are so beautiful Lucy! I am in awe of their smiles and happiness radiating from them all the time. I love these portraits. :) I enjoyed doing my milestones of him, her, and them last year. I love to look back over and see them each week changing and learning both separately and apart. it's bittersweet isn't it? Such a great thing to be a mother of two! I look forward to seeing yours again this year! xo
ReplyDeleteI do love the beach in the winter. Its crazy how much kids change in a year, Oh ye and mine is a high pitched screamer to lol oh the joys
ReplyDeleteOh Ethan does that high pitched scream too! It's very very loud. (Our poor neighbours!) x
ReplyDeleteOh he looks so grown up in his big coat but so little at the same time. Beautiful wintery shots x
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the BB is just stunning! We don't spend nearly enough time at the beach in the winter even though it is so close
ReplyDeleteLovely shots Lucy! I really, really want to try this this year with my 'him and her' (if you don't mind?!). S is obsessed with all her stocking fillers and is enamored with the most random things- a rubber wiggly worm is a favourite! Happy New Year to you x
ReplyDeleteThey are both looking so grown up! Lovely photos. x
ReplyDeleteLook at them - haven't they grown Your little boy especially looks much more grown-up these days.
ReplyDeleteI love how distinctively individual they look, whilst still sharing those big, dark eyes. One can definitely tell that they are siblings.
Gorgeous portraits lovely, I love the one of BB especially. I love cold days on the beach when you wrap up all cosy. My girls are obsessed with all their 'little' bits and pieces too, rather than their actual big toys. They love treasures. x
ReplyDeleteAww they're lovely pictures - lucky you to get to go to the beach, and I love how snuggly they both look! And also yay, I'm not the only one whose daughter considers high pitched squeaks a valid method of communication and/or ratting out her older sister!
