Nothing could ever fully prepare you
for the love you feel for your child.
You think you get the idea,
until you have one,
and then it's something you cannot ever fully and truly put into words.
It's a priceless, precious thing
which is hard to explain.
And just when you think you have that love all sussed out,
they go and do something
which just sends more love bursting through you
when you wouldn't have thought it possible
that you could ever love them any more.
Sometimes those moments lie in the milestones,
which see your gushing with pride
that your offspring has done something so amazing.
At other times it's in the simplest of things,
like a captured moment,
a precious second where you see your family from the outside,
you see how other people see it,
and you can't believe that it's all yours.
Gorgeous. And Mr E gets this often, two little ladies sitting on him like he is the sofa! x
ReplyDeleteHehe. He acts hard done by but I know for a fact that he absolutely loves it. x

DeleteWhat a beautiful quote, I love this picture, this is how I dreamt of family life when pregnant, silly maybe but it is. from this picture I can see BG looking like her Daddy xx
ReplyDeleteAhhh, I did too. It's a weird feeling to see what you dreamed of right in front of you. And she is going through one of those phases, where she's just like one person one second, and someone else the next. x
DeleteSo true, just beautiful
