is all about taking the time each month
to grab your loved ones and get a photo together.
I can't believe we are half way through the year already
and that we have half a year's worth of family portraits to show for it.
That makes me so, so happy.
I think all seven of us who are hosting this project would agree,
that while getting these photos can be a challenge some months,
it's completely worth doing.
I just know that we are going to love looking back at 2013 through this project.
So why not get a family portrait today
and link up with us.
Or join us on the last day of next month with a July photo.
We would love to have you.
And don't forget to click round the circle
and visit all seven hosts.
We'd like to think we might give you a bit of inspiration.
Plus it's lovely to see what each of us has done for each month's photo.
I'm sending you over to see Charlotte and her family this month.
She blogs at The Crumby Mummy
and shares lots of photos of amazingly cute daughter Bob.
Go and check her out.
So I've shown you me and mine,
now we want to see you and yours . . .
awww another gorgeous family portrait :)
ReplyDeletei am loving that your beautofuo gilr loves marmite sandwiches - B has loved those since an early age too (like his mummy).xx
Thanks. I'm really glad she's joined the "marmite club", the little guy and I are big fans too, but Daddy is a hater and was hoping she'd be like him. ;) X
Deletesuch fab photos - I love momentos of family strolls, especially through fields of ''yellow wowers' as E would say :o)
ReplyDeleteI love yellow in photos. It just pops out somehow. And our walk in the yellow flowers was fun. x
DeleteGorgeous pics xx
ReplyDeleteThanks hun. I have my Mum to thank for them this month. x
DeleteOh so lovely Lucy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, and a lovely field to play in! I'm joining in for the first time this month after last month's pictures reminded me how few family photos I take, I'm usually hiding behind the camera.
ReplyDeleteI was very guilty of hiding behind the camera until quite recently. It's tricky sometimes, and I do still have to remind myself, but I know it will be worth it in years to come. x
DeleteBeautiful photos! At first I thought it was oilseed rape, can't believe how many buttercups there are! Gorgeous! This project is definitely worth doing! I love it! Thanks for coming up with it! x x x
ReplyDeleteWe went crazy with the yellow flowers this month. Two of them ARE oilseed rape, then the other one is buttercups. I'm loving the project so much. x
DeleteGorgeous! Hope no one has hayfever!!
ReplyDeleteHaha. The kids don't, and mine hasn't been so bad the last few years, but the hubby has quite nasty hayfever. Don't think it can be rapeseed that causes him issues though as he was fine. x
DeleteLovely pictures as always. I really need to find a beautiful meadow for my own flowery pics!
ReplyDeleteThank-you. We didn't have to drive very far and just pulled into a little gap in the hedgerow to walk into the field. Probably trespassing really, but we were very quick! x
DeleteLOVe the pop of yellow this month, it looks so summer! You sound like you've had a fab month, pay rise and bucket list! Fab! Can't believe the beautiful girl likes marmite!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, why am I not surprised that you would love a pop of yellow? It has been a good month, definitely. x
DeleteThanks, the flowers and light were really summery, but the cloudy sky kind of tells the true story of June doesn't it? x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. And a gorgeous setting.
ReplyDeleteI think your mum did a really good job :-) xx
Thank-you. They didn't turn out too badly in the end, I was a bit worried as the kids weren't playing ball and it was quite windy, but they aren't too shabby as it turns out. x
DeleteLovely photos Lucy and I love the weedy shots in flowers, I think they just look so pretty and magical. Xx
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. Loads of weeds all together looks really magical and ethereal. Which is why we felt the need to plonk ourselves down in the middle of them. x
DeleteGorgeous,gorgeous pictures as always xx
ReplyDeleteThanks hun. I love your's too. x
DeleteSuch beautiful shots! I've only just come across this project and am jumping from blog to blog in awe of the pictures...and yours are just stunning!

Thanks hun. And I'm so glad that you joined in this and your photos are lovely. I'll nag you each month if you like. x
DeleteOh Lucy what wonderful photos! I adore your little family x
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank-you. That's so sweet. x
DeleteOooh, these are lovely and summery - I LOVE yellow.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely way of summing up what's been going on in your lives. I loved clearing up leftovers when my kids went through the marmite sandwich phase ;) Congrats on the pay rise!
ReplyDeleteI always love you me and mine photos. It really inspires me to get a tripod and remote and start taking proper ones rather than on my phone all the time! We always forget to take our good camera out with us. Your photos are always so fresh and colourful. x
