New Year's Day.

My new baby.

My new lens.

I am a little bit obsessed with my new camera toy.

It's a new year

and See It Snap It Love It is back

with a new lease of life.

But also with some slight changes.

I thought back to why I started it in the first place

and it was to give myself a challenge

to photograph different things,

to spot the beauty in the ordinary,

and to maybe learn a little along the way.

And that is still what I want from it.

I guess everyone comes to photography wanting different things

but ultimately wanting to document.

And for me, right now, I really want to document our lives,

the ordinary and mundane,

the tiny details,

the special moments,

the ugly, the interesting and the beautiful.

The themes will still be here:

some really open ended and open to interpretation,

some really specific,

but all something you can put your own spin on.

I've been so thrilled to see people joining in week after week

and going around to each other's entries and sharing comments.

I would love to see that sense of community grow a bit.

So some weeks I would love some of you to be guest co-hosts;

hosting the linky on your blog too

and also sharing tips on how you created your image,

or on ideas for the next theme.

The idea being that we can all learn from each other.

For next weeks theme I'm going to keep it really easy.

The theme will be 'The One Word Title'.

Your photo can be of anything

but the rule is it has to have a one word title.

Easy, no?
