eight weeks new

Your personality was beginning to show 

and we felt like we were really getting to know you.

Like we knew that you loved being in the bath,

you would wriggle and smile and were so happy and content in water.

But you hated the cold bit when you had to come out of the bath,

your bottom lip would wobble and it often made you cry.

And you liked us to be near you

and in your sight wherever possible.

You were beginning to get a bit of seperation anxiety

and would get upset quite quickly when you couldn't see or hear us.

We had started to do some proper tummy time with you each day

and you absolutely loved it.

It was probably because you were so nosey

and also because you already had pretty good head control

but you definitely seemed to like your new view of things.

Your favourite thing of all was being made to jump.

We would hold you in our arms and then pretend like you were falling.

You absolutely adored it

and would smile and giggle in such an adorable way

that it made us want to keep doing it

just to see more of your gorgeous grins.
