tigg ipad beanbag review

I use my iPad a lot.
Probably far too much really.
But it is like another limb
and we are rarely far apart when I'm at home.
I use it keep up to date with goings on in the world,
to take and edit photos;
I often wonder what I ever did without it.

So when the very lovely Elli
who blogs at Hiccups and Hay Days got in touch
explaining that she had set up an Etsy store
for her homemade iPad accessories
I was intrigued.
And she wanted me to review one of her beanbag stands?
I jumped at it.
I am always happy to support bloggers and handcrafting businesses,
but it also seemed like a brilliant idea.
And when I mentioned it to my husband it said it was "genius"
and that he wished he'd thought of the idea himself.
Praise indeed.

It arrived really quickly
and is really well made.
It has a very professional looking Tigg label attached,
which is the name of her Etsy store,
and is super light-weight.
After the little guy had a little play with it,
which included him thinking it was some sort of hat,
I set to work testing it out.

And......?
We love it!
I can honestly say it is used every single day.
You can use it to support the iPad in a horizontal or vertical position
(something which the folding iPad cover which Apple sell, doesn't do.)
It can balance it easily on less stable surfaces,
like the sofa,
or on the bed to watch movies,
or on your baby bump to play games and check twitter.

As is often the way
the simplest ideas are the most fantastic,
and the Tigg beanbag is certainly an example of this.
We certainly can't recommend it enough.

And the lovely Elli is offering my lovely readers a chance to buy their own
with a special Dear Beautiful Boy discount code.
The beanbags normally retail at £14.99
but she also sells iPad cases,
and all in a range of pretty fabrics.
So go and give her store a look.

And if you enter the discount code BEANBAGDBB then you'll get 10% off of your order.

I was sent this item free of charge for the purposes of this review.
As always, the opinions and words are all my own.
